About
I have over 15 years of basketball knowledge. I played college basketball at a NAIA D1 for 3 years. I have been an student assistant coach at the women's division 2 level for 2 years and have been around the program for 4-5 years. I have played and coached against all levels of college basketball players from D1, D2, NAIA, Juco and even D3. I have been training on and off for 3 years now. I have helped players get the opportunity to play professionally overseas.
I truly love the game of basketball and what it can do for you if you just put in the work, and never doubt yourself. I like that I am giving kids a chance to complete their goals whether if that just making a junior high team or earning a scholarship to play basketball no matter the level. There is nothing better than seeing all the hard work a player has put in and it starts to pay off in ways they never though it could.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like to see where the client is at in the game of basketball skill wise then we start from there. Usually we start with the basics of ball handling, passing and shooting with correct form. I do listen and sometimes work on exactly what my client needs if I feel they are ready for it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played college basketball for 3 years against all levels of college basketball. I also was a student assistant coach at a division 2 women's basketball program for 2 years. Also with that I was around the program helping here and there for 4-5 years. I have my Bachelors of Arts in History with my minor in Criminal Justice as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$20 for 30 minute lesson.
$35 for a hour lesson.
$45 for a hour and half lesson.
$60 for a 2 hour lesson.
*I do not train beyond 2 hours because I have learned in basketball after those 2 hours you body tends to get tired and it is very hard to get better and completely focus when your body is tired.
How did you get started teaching?
Each student lessons will be different depending on skill level. I always start off with the Mikan drill and ball handling to warm up no matter what. It's always good to get the blood running and get some good touch and feel for the basketball.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids going all the way to overseas pros.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you don't mind working hard and you want to improve in basketball, you should definitely give my basketball lessons a go. I am a players coach and at the end of the day I am here to help the player accomplish the goals they have set for themselves.
