Welcome! My name is Matt Germeyer, I've been teaching guitar since 2004. I've had the pleasure to play with UT Austin's Caribbean Ensemble and a local recording Rock act, The Warplanes, during my time in Austin. My style as a teacher focuses on strong fundamentals that are applicable across genres, theory, composition and technique. I strive to develop a sense of wonder about music as a whole, in all its diversity. Musical interests shift all the time, and there are ways to grow as an artist from each of these ventures.
