I have loved and taught photography for 30+ years! I work with all brands and own multiple cameras: Canon, Sony, Panasonic, and have nikon, and pentax film cameras too! I have taught elementary-age kidoes to beautiful elders in wheelchairs the joy of getting great pictures! "Hell me help you" learn and enjoy getting a better understanding of your gear and making creative photo-art!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30+ years of teaching experience! Master of Fine Arts from the University of Texas Dallas in Arts and Technology (Photographic/Digital Concentration) [ATEC], BFA in Visual Arts from Texas Lutheran University, EC-12 Art Texas Teaching Certified from TLU. I taught Darkroom Photography for Collin County Community College, and I worked with the young and old at Precision Camera, helping them find the right equipment and teaching them how to use it. I taught at Huntington Surrey School as a photography, poetry, yearbook, and multiple electives instructor for two years, then for The Boys and Girls Club of Austin as a Professional Digital Teaching Artist and Club Director. I now teach through www.thepaperplategallery.com, able to help your photographic, digital, artistic, or painterly path... As a facilitating teacher and new friend. π

I start at $60 an hour, for one individual. Couples or groups are discussed through consultation. π
How did you get started teaching?
Summer camp programming, yearbook, and photography instructor. (With no ac!) Those were the days!

All ages and skill levels! Some have an unopened box, others shooting for years.
