Now and days it's hard to find coaches that teach skill from the bottom up due to all of these new offensive schemes. In order to fit in an offense accordingly, these skills must not only be taught correctly, they need to be taught effectively. I am the SKILLS coach...I was an all region small forward in 05/06 and a Texas top prospect in 06. I went to Sachse high school and continued my athletic play at New Mexico Highlands University where I averaged 8 points and 5 rebounds my freshman year. If you want to take your game to a level that is rare and hard to find these days....i am who you are looking for.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Well I'd like to get to know the student outside of basketball just for a few so I can know exactly how to interact with him/her. Second, I'd like to see where the student is at condition wise, that way we can get him/her in the proper shape before picking up the ball is a factor. Next comes ball handling. Without proper ball handling skills you CANNOT be successful at the game of basketball. Defensive technique, shooting, post moves and seperation from the defender will all fall behind ball handling.
