Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Are the student there to truley learn CPR because they know the imoprtance of it because they might be called on to do it at anytime or they are just there to get a CPR card. American Heart Association Class based courses sets the standard. I listen to their needs. Know the Strengths & weakness of the student and then we hit it all. By the end of the course, they know how to do it right with full comfidence.

Greg has 23 years’ experience as a EMT-Basic, Nationally Registered & Licensed Paramedic, 27 years as a Certified CRTT/RCP Respiratory Therapist working 4 years at Baylor University Medical Center Level 3 Trauma Hospital in the DFW area before becoming a Firefighter/Paramedic and 4 years as a Flight Medic. What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they know how to teach properly the lessons in CPR or have actually done it and Not just memorizing a book. You are there to learn how to save a life, not just getting a CPR certification.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
See if they are truley American Heart Association Instructors with experiance in the filed...or having the passion of teaching the courses right and you are learning. Dont be afraid in asking the Instructors questions. Thats what they are there for.
