Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For the initial certification (for new students), I spend about 3-4 hours. After introduction, we watch the videos after which a test is taken to assess your understanding (and not to worry, the test is pretty simple and I always go over it with my students to address any misunderstanding).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Apriceless heart is a mobile company; we come to teach you CPR at the comfort of your home. Our pricing depends on the distance of the client, if the CPR certification is for a renewal or an initial certification.
It is part of the requirement that a student purchase the CPR provider manual before the class. You can purchase the manual (either e-copy or soft copy) at shopcpr.heart.org. If you have purchased it in the past, that is totally fine, I would just need to see it.
Please note, At the moment, I can only take 3 students at a time.

How did you get started teaching?
For the past 9 years, being in the medical field as a Registered Nurse has made me understand and appreciate the importance of CPR. So I decided to help out and spread this knowledge to both health care professionals and lay individuals. This interest pushed me into going to a training center to get my certification as a certified CPR trainer.
