About
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to checking out my profile. I enjoy helping others and seeing people achieve their goals. If you're interested in learning Spanish, I'm your guy! I'm Puerto Rican mostly raised in Puerto Rico and speaking Spanish since always! I hold a teacher's license in Texas and certified Bilingual and Spanish.
Hola!
I enjoy doing a great job where I can help others. Seeing people make a click or that connection with something that seemed difficult to understand, but I have helped them grasp the concept in an easier way makes it worth it! I've helped people as a teacher, teacher assistant, tutor and even as a student helping his peers. I was a TA during my masters degree where I tutored and gave courses. I was a teacher for four years and I do it online now.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with someone new, we would sit and establish what are the wants and needs of the student. Based on that we can elaborate a plan or schedule that works for both that will help the student achieve his/her goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have Teaching License from the state of Texas, certified EC-6, Bilingual and Spanish certification.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Based on the initial assessment of the student's needs and wants, we would establish a schedule. This, the teacher traveling to the student and the complexity will determine pricing. Starting price would be $15 per hour.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I recommend that students take notes of what their needs are. They could make a list of three sections: "I'm good", "I need help" and " I'm struggling". In the I'm good section the student can write the topics they master and we can go over them swiftly, and for the I need help part we can take more time so the teacher can guide the student towards the solution. In the I'm struggling section, the student lays out those areas will they need the most help and we would focus there. This helps maximize the student's time and improve in those areas that need the most attention.
