Hi,
My name is Doug Schneider and I have been teaching music since 2008. I specialize in saxophone, but I also teach guitar. For the past five years, I have been a band, orchestra, and choir director in the San Antonio and Austin areas. I have worked with students ranging from 5th-12th grade and enjoy working with students on various genres of music including rock, jazz, and classical. I am a highly qualified teacher and hold a bachelors degree in Music Education and Saxophone Performance from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. As a teacher, I strive to help students hone their musical abilities and encourage students to develop a passion and love for music. I am currently available to teach lessons in my home studio and have increased availability during the summer months.
