Breakout Soccer Training
About
Soccer is life! I have a passion in helping kids excel in the beautiful game. I see to many times kids being taught how to play the game wrong and teaching bad technique. My job as a Coach and a trainer is to give kids a fun environment while learning quality technique through discipline and patience.
I've been coaching soccer for almost ten years, recreational and competitive. I've also played when I was younger as well in school and also during my lunch ears in the Army.
I am a grassroots certified coach through the US Soccer Federation. I am also a head coach of two U9 teams and assist on a U11 and U14 team. Currently those are competitive travel teams. I've taken a 2010 all boys team across South Texas and have placed 2nd and or won 8 tournaments within 2 years. I have had multiple kids play in the national All American Soccer series as well.
I truly enjoy what I do in coaching. I love connecting with kids and just being able to help them succeed in the game of soccer. There's nothing better then tracking their growth in a sport and making an impact in how they can overcome life in general.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First session will be an assessment session. Getting to know the athlete and how he or she reacts to training. Once I get a feel of what the child needs to compete, I will come up with a session plan that best fits the need of the child. We want to instill quality, discipline and confidence because I feel that an athlete in any sport needs to master in order to be successful. Quality trump's everything! If you look on a pitch, you will see that an athlete with quality touches almost dominates 99% of the time. Each training session will be 1 hour long.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Grassroots certified Coach through the US Soccer Federation. Will be persuing my D license very soon.
I recertify in a concussion protocol and sexual harassment class every year.
On top of this I was and Equal Opportunity leader my time in the Army.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50 per single session 1 hour
$75 for twice a week 1 hour
$200 for 5 sessions each 1 hour
Can do custom pricing for multiple children or if needing for a team. I am also flexible on payments as well to benefit you as a parent.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started coaching soccer just by someone asking me to help out on a recreational team. It ended up evolving into someone asking my son to go competitive and from there I got certified and started coaching competitively.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event that I am fond of is taking a team to a Nike sponsored tornament and placing second. We beat multiple teams across texas to make the championship, but fell short of winning it all. It was a culmination of a lot of hard work that evolved into something great.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Patience goes a long way! Finding someone with such, is a win in the moment. Always look for someone with those qualities because if you want to become great, you have to have patience.
