About

I have been doing basketball skills training for 4 years now, I train college players all levels, middle school, high school and pro players as well. I don't discriminate at all, I train all ages whether you are a boy or a girl. If you are looking to take your game to the next level then contact me now to reach the level you never thought you could reach! Jeff Beverly is a guy I trained while he was at UTSA this past year, he had a great year was the leading scorer, he graduated from UTSA in May of 2017 and he is now attending Iowa State University and playing basketball there. My other guy Jacoby Ross was at the prep school ABI in Atlanta Georgia and he is now playing at Alabama State University, he is a freshman there. I have trained every skill level and helped develop each player completely as a player and as a person. I have trained kids as young as 5 years old and as old as 28 years old as well. See you soon! Everyone have a blessed day!! If you want to follow my social media, my Twitter and Instagram is @CoachAD_TBT.

I enjoy everything about basketball and getting every player better. This is my passion and I refuse to let anyone feel negative towards themselves about their game or how their game looks. I love being positive towards every client and adapting to their learning style in order to make sure their game elevates to the highest level possible for them. All I want for every client is to see them succeed in basketball and in life as well! I want them to become a better overall basketball player, but I also want to help them become a better person as well! I am very passionate and competitive when it comes to basketball, but I also know there is more to life than just basketball as well!

Frequently asked questions

I start off with very simple drills to see exactly where the player’s skill level is at. Once I see the skill level I adjust my drills to either beginner drills, intermediate drills, or extremely advanced drills. Once I figure that out it tells me how I will finish out the lesson with the player. I really watch every detail closely in every player, how they do a certain move, their style, their effort, etc.

I have been doing skills training for four years now and I’m going on my fifth year now. I am extremely passionate about helping others in every way. Basketball did not go the way I wanted it for myself so I feel that I need to spread my knowledge to the youth so that they can all excel in basketball and life!

As far as pricing I Charge $40 for an hour and a half. I go over that time at times,ñbut that is no extra charg, this is for those that are going to be coming consistently. Otherwise if you can not come consistently then you would need to go with the pay as you come option. I can explain the package deal in more detail once we meet each other or have a conversation.

I actually got started training after I was training with my trainer and I had finally tried out for the UTSA basketball team and didn’t make it. After that happened I decided that it is time to change the world for the better so I started training players and it went great, so to this day I am still training players and enjoying every second of it.

I have worked with all ages and skill levels throughout my time training. I have worked with as little as 5 year old players, all the way up to grown men. I have trained beginners, intermediate, and extremely advanced players. I have trained Elementary players, middle school players, high school players, college players, and I am about to start training some pro players as well that are playing overseas basketball.

I have a lot of events I am very fond of so this is actually pretty hard to choose from. I would have to say the recent event I am very fond of is seeing a player that I trained really translating everything he learned from me into the game I watched him play in and he got a lot of recognition and respect from everyone in that game when those same people had doubted him before. He is now on a great AAU basketball team where he is a big part of their success.

I would have to say if you don’t feel like you can connect with that teacher and talk to them about more than just the sport you are training for then that is not the teacher for you. You should want your teacher or trainer to be a role model to you, or likes big brother or big sister to you. You want your teacher or trainer to be someone that is not going to sugarcode things to you, you want them to be able to tell you straight up and not hold back because if not then they are not being real with you and trying to help you reach your highest level. In the end if your teacher or trainer is sugar coding things to you then they do not care about you getting better like they are telling you. Your teacher or trainer should always be real with you so that you can see that they really care about you.

I would have to say that they should think first is the teacher a good person, what is their character and personality show. You should be able to get along with your teacher or trainer and connect with them first before you even start a session with them.
