This place is legit. Definitely one of the best places I’ve been too. Wish they had more lanes that could be more individualized but no worries. Great deal, great pricing, and legit place.

The lanes are very well laid out. Although the ground is a little muddy after a rain oh, the targets are still accessible. They have a blacksmith on site and at least 2 to 3 very knowledgeable instructors on site as well. I had the best time firing up my targets and yes I will be back!

Always loved this range even when they first opened. I talked about this range for years when I moved from Texas. Now that we are back I’ll be headed there a lot. Staff have always been great and knowledgeable and if you know what you’re doing they don’t bother you but always check for safety.

This range had everything I needed to get ready for my next 3 gun match. Great variety of steel targets for a fun challenge. Friendly staff and clean facility. Price was great too. Really enjoyed my visit

    Frequently asked questions

I use a diagnostic target to see what their strengths are and what we need to improve on. The next step is to build a plan for their success.

I started shooting when I was four years old, I'm now fifty-one, I have forty-seven years of experience with firearms, my time in the military and law enforcement have given me a healthy respect for weapons of all types.

I normally charge $75.00/hr with a two hour minimum ($150.00), I have been told by many students that I could charge much more and should, I'm not doing this to get rich, I do it because I truly enjoy shooting and most importantly I want everyone to be properly trained in the use of their firearms, so I feel $75.00 is a fair price.

It was always a goal of mine to teach, and this combines both, my love of firearms and teaching.

I've worked with all types of people, from absolutely no experience to moderate experience, I've found those that have a lot of experience don't need what I offer, but I have had a few look me up for a "tune-up" I guess you could say.

It's difficult to narrow it down to one event, but if I had to, I'd have to say it was after a shooting proficiency and the client was waiting for her ride, so my middle daughter and I did some shooting drills, the client stood there in absolute amazement at how well my daughter could shoot at multiple targets and hit exactly where I told her too, I am very very proud of her and how well she does.

I would suggest looking for an instructor that's not in a rush to get your money, one that is more concerned with you learning at a comfortable pace and being proficient with your weapon, anyone in a rush to get you on the range and get your money has their focus on the wrong thing in my opinion.

That's another difficult question, while many seem to be common sense questions, if they're asking you, there must be some reason behind it, especially those with little to no experience, so feel free to ask all your questions, if the instructor belittles you, walk away and seek another, there's a right way and a wrong way to talk to your students/clients and not make them feel bad, for some it's difficult to even ask the questions, making them feel worse is not the answer. Help them to understand.
