I am the harp instructor at Trinity University in San Antonio.
I teach the Salzedo harp technique. This technique promotes consistent healthy movements, sound projection, and graceful movements designed to not distract your audience from the music and instrument.
Additionally, correct music, phrasing and dynamics of playing the harp.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Make sure student has a proper instrument to practice their assignments.
Suggest one half hour lesson per week.
Ensure the student has learned treble and bass clef notes together with rhythm skills.
Teach student how to practice. Choose music the student will enjoy learning.
Provide recital experiences and an annual harp camp to improve ensemble skills.
