Hi my name is Carmen Cortazar and I am an Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor's in Engineering Management and a Master's in Electrical & Computer Engineering. I am currently studying for my Professional Engineering license and hope to obtain it sometime this year. I have been tutoring all levels of Math and Engineering courses since 2006 and love what I do. My passion is to create a connection between my students and STEM. I currently sit on the UIW miniGEMS Advisory board where I am invited every year as a Guest Speaker to their Engineering Camps.

Tutoring allows me the opportunity to meet great students and not only help them with their academic struggles but enlighten them to the countless opportunities they have in front of them. I love seeing the light bulb go off when my students make a connection that once felt impossible.
