MN Oil Paintings
About
My Grandmother took me to see the 'Starving Artist show' in downtown San Antonio when I was 10 years old and I knew Right away that art was what I wanted to do forever. Any way you look at it, I am an artist all around. I have painted over 4,000 portraits and celebrities/rock stars own my work including John Carter Cash, Cj Ramone, Doyle Von Frankenstein, Eric Roberts, and more. Art comes natural to me and I can teach you to paint whatever your heart desires.
I don't call it work because it is something I love to do. I believe everyone is an artist, and I can help unlock the artist inside of you if you give me a chance. I like to see the look on someone's face when they have painted something that they never thought that they could paint!....It makes teaching worth it to me..

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students have their choice of who or what they paint. I will Provide the supplies and get the canvas ready to be painted with oil or acrylics,... explain the step by step process in a way they can understand
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught artist. After 4,000 paintings I have become very fast...I have painted a portrait in 15 minutes recorded on video.. Although portraits are my specialty, Claude Monet is my favorite artist. I have learned how to mix abstract with realism...In my attempt to take art lessons, I was refunded the money ,...as the teacher said there was nothing he could teach me
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Usually I charge 100 dollars for an hour and a half of painting lessons. But pricing and times are flexible
How did you get started teaching?
I recorded myself painting and people seemed to really like it so I figured why not teach whoever wanted to learn and was advertising to customers
What types of students have you worked with?
Ages 13- 55 so far... Ive had all kinds of students...The ones who want to learn, some who think they are too good to learn but are there anyway , some experienced, some who have never tried or completed a painting.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher who will teach you how to progress into your own style, because when people are taught one way, art starts to look unrecognized as to who painted it
