I am an accomplished artist who began my career in my home country of Cameroon. I studied art from the age of thirteen with over six years of education that included school and private lessons with artists from across the globe including the US, France, Senegal, China, Tunisia and Algeria. My passion for art goes beyond just creating into instruction with over 10 years of experience to include therapeutic art for the disabled and elderly, outreach programs for children in Georgia and San Antonio, as well as individual and group private lessons.
I use a wide range of mediums that includes acrylics, oil, pencil, pastel, watercolor, and sculpture. I specialize in murals, portraiture, and classical illustration. I have also exhibited my work in multiple art galleries in the capital city of Yaounde, the commercial city of Douala, and the city of Buea in Cameroon as well as in Gainesville, Georgia at Quinlan Visual Art Gallery. As a company, ScottBlack@rt Creations is gearing towards not just teaching art, helping the young , youth and adults understand art as a discipline which enriches, stimulates and builds confidence and not just a hobby during a 'Lazy Day'. We are always looking forward to improvement.
