Frequently asked questions

We think the best environment to start a photography course is a studio. This way you have controlled lighting and a controlled environment to learn and work in.

We have several people on staff with a photography degreee or background. We handle approximately 200 shoots per year ranging from schools to weddings to corporate eventslkjlkjhbackground and education. We also have one photographer who also has a formal education in videographry!

Our rates varie ffor $25 to $50 per hour, depending on the length of the program, location, etc. We are flexibille and will work with your budget.

We provide photography camps because we enjoy sharing our passion. Because of our experience with our summer camps we realized how much we enjoy and have a passion for teaching others. We have learned so much and would like to pass on this knowledge and experience so others can benfit from our successes and our failures.

We have experience teaching children ages 9 to 15 years. We would like to also help adults learn the art of photography and are open to students of all ages.

Last summer we had several children sign up for our photography camp and enjoyed it so much we are doing it again this summer.

When you look for a photography instructor be prepared to share what you want to learn and how much time you can commit to the process. Also, make sure you actually get along with the photographer. The more comfortable you are with the instructor the more you will enjoy the learning process.

If you are thinking of taking photography lessons please think of what you want to learn. Do you want to learn how to take beautiful pictures of people, flowers, sports, etc?

Think about how much time you can commit to learning photography. Do you want to invest four Saturdays in one month? Do you want to invest 2-4 hours every weekend for six months? The more you are prepared the easier the process will go when looking for an instructor.

Ask the photographer for their work history. Experience outside of photography is a plus too. It means the instructor is probably a more rounded person and has a backgroud of working with people.
