About
I studied mathematics at the Central University of Las Villas in Cuba and I graduated in 1972. I worked as a teacher of high school students and later I worked as a professor at the University. I explained different subjects among them: Intermediate Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre Calculus, Differential and Integral Calculus, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations. For this I am sure I can help students achieve their goals, because I have experience teaching different branches of mathematics both in high school and in college. I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a professor's degree at the same university where I studied. I worked for more than 25 years in Cuba and when I arrived in the United States I worked as a math tutor with students of different levels. I have experience in the teaching of mathematics and a theory of how to teach this science, because I participated in pedagogical research. Mathematics is an abstract science and it differs from the others because it works with physically non-existent objects, which is why students must be trained so that they can understand the abstracts of the subject. I feel passion for this work, because I like to help others and lead them to conquer their goals in life.
I also worked as a computer programmer, for engineering calculations in a hydraulic company where I could apply the theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems.
También puedo enseñar en español, pues es mi lengua materna.
