Breathing Hearts

Breathing Hearts, founded in 2016 and based in Houston, Texas, provides American Heart Association life-saving training across the Greater Houston area, including Cypress and Katy. As an independent instructor aligned with Bayside CPR & AED Training Center in Annapolis, MD, the business offers BLS Provider (first time, expired, and renewal), Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED (adult and pediatric), Family & Friends CPR, and Safe Sitter babysitting classes for students in grades 6–8.

Training is delivered through small, hands-on classes and blended options. Participants may complete Part 1 online with AHA and finish with an in-person skills session; standalone skills checks are available. Same-day AHA eCard certifications are issued, typically valid for two years where applicable.

Breathing Hearts conducts mobile, on-site group training and hosts public classes most Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at a community center in Cypress. Office hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Class sizes are kept under nine participants. Group discounts are available for three or more, and Safe Sitter classes are scheduled for groups seasonally from March through September, with groups of seven or more available year-round.
