Holly Hunter Berry

How fortunate I feel to have found Holly Hunter Berry early in my art career. With a few workshops under my belt, I had a new love for acrylic mixed media but was lacking in the most basic art skills. Classically trained, Holly Hunter Berry has a unique teaching style that reinforces the elements and principals of design while at the same time allowing a huge amount of creative freedom for her students. She reinforces art skills with each lesson, then allows each artist to come out and play in their own unique style. Holly Hunter Berry is very knowledgeable in all things mixed media and utilizes products in fun, creative ways, yet remains true to her training. If you are considering a class with her, don’t hesitate. It is an honor to call her teacher.

Holly is a delight and spends time at the beginning of each 3 hour session teaching a lesson pertinent to us all. For the first few sessions Holly helps very close one on one assigned projects. Once you are comfortable about that, you pick your own. Finding pictures you feel emotionally attached to was also some very good advice she gave. Painting something that triggers pleasant memories for you or someone else has the power to keep giving back the pleasure.

Our classes are informative and fun. After group instruction, Holly spends the entire time going around the room providing guidance to each of us. Male or female, young or old, everyone is having a good time. It is quality time spent doing something for me. I recommend you sign up today.
