I have always loved craft and art since I was little and I am very passionate about all DIY projects. All my knowledge comes from experience, I like to create all types of art projects and I put all that into my lessons, my goal is that my students can feel encouraged to create their own art pieces usin the techniques I share during the virtual classes.
I feel greatfull every time I am given the chance to share my knowledge , it makes me really happy to connect with people who like painting and creating art pieces.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first thing I like to know is why students want to start painting , then their available times so we can set a schedule. I am open to answer all the questions students need to know before they decide to start lessons.

How did you get started teaching?
I got a bachelor degree in teaching in 2007 , and I worked as an English teacher during 10 years at a University in my home town in Venezuela. Nowadays I combined my passion for arts and crafts with all the knowledge and pedagogical training I got in my carreer as a teacher.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have offered many different classes online but there was one class very special, it was a personalized class for a child with his dad and they painted super heroes ! It was very meaningful for me , I can only imagine how it was for them ! That day I learned that my purpose was beyond the painting lesson itself , it is more about the experience the participants can get from it.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about the reasons that are motivating you to take painting lessons: is is for fun? is painting something you do regularly and want to improve? do you prefer painting something specific like portraits for example? ... All this will help the instructor to know if he or she is really able to guide you with your in your painting adventure.
