About
NLFAD strives to develop the complete athlete, believing one of the biggest attributes to program is injury prevention.
Through properly working through athletic progressions, building a solid fundamental foundation which to build upon, the sky is the limit regarding athletic domination!
Agility, balance, coordination, strength, quickness, speed, endurance, power, and sport specific movements are all keys to development of dominant athletes.
Supplemental Athletic Development to further enhance your athletes current season/sport.
Developing good training habits and work ethic, while improving coordination, balance, strength and speed will be extremely beneficial to long-term development as future athletes. The greatest leap in athletic formation takes place during youth years. My training will provide your young athlete with a strong foundation that they can build on throughout their athletic careers.
I enjoy developing and educating individuals to train their body's to be the most mechanically advanced on the field of competition. Especially young athletes, it cannot be a job in my opinion, there must be some enjoyment and inner drive involved other than domination against their peers. I enjoy the mental aspect of training and teach my athletes these concepts along with the physical development we progress through. Training is based on the INDIVIDUALS skill set!
I most enjoy seeing the work pay off, and the athletes face when it does just that!

How did you get started teaching?
Was a D1 athlete in college, after graduation I started teaching and coaching for ten years throughout three states. Coached youth, MS, HS and College teams.
Have been solely training athletes the past fourteen years.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginner youth to professional athletes and every sport you could think of.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Developed and trained a young athlete from elementary school to high school graduation and some college years. Went on to play collegiately and professionally.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the personality fits, own your goals, make sure you are assessed physically prior to any exercise. You should be REDUCING injury risks while increasing your skill, strength, quickness and agility. (I like to include the mental part of the game as an athlete becomes older and understands the importance.)
