About
I love to teach and believe every person who wants to learn to paint can be taught to paint. I've taught for many years and refuse to give up on a student.
I also offer virtual classes via Zoom and have had even beginning students have great success online. This is very exciting! Also exciting is that online classes allow people the convenience Of no travel, no carrying heavy art supplies to the studio and the ability to learn to paint with the experience of being in class with the other students.
Another service I provide is Mixed Media monthly Subscription Boxes full of Mixed Media art supplies and complementary lessons for use of the supplies.
I want to teach each student to paint what they want to paint. Lessons are designed to individualize and build on the student's strengths.
It's is very gratifying to see students find a method to reduce anxiety and Visibily relax during class. Also, I feel it makes a difference in people's lives when they improve in painting skills through individualization in my classes.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently completed another solo show in the Dallas area. I enjoy hearing what impact my paintings have on the viewer. Also, I take delight in having people purchase my art work and tell me it's just the piece they've been looking for or describe the specific place it will hang in their home.
I also enjoyed serving as President of SWS a 400+ member artist organization and acting as the Managing Partner of a large art gallery. However. what I love most is owning my studio/gallery and receiving encouraging messages from students about my teaching.
