Yes, depending on the difficulty of the lesson or material to be learned. For simple things like how to navigate email, it is $12/hour. For complicated matters like setting up spreadsheets specific to a business algorithim that is $25/hour.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are comfortable with or enjoy the material you are going to be covering. Also ask if the have a simple curriculum in place that can be modified to fit your desired learning.
