Faith Sam's Music Studio

Hello! My teaching focuses on students' goals for their music and their reasons for learning. I believe it's important to learn note reading, playing by ear, music theory, ear training, and music history all together.

I received my BA from Florida Gulf Coast University in Piano Performance on Full Scholarship and also received a scholarship from "Steinway and Sons Piano Co." I studied and performed in Italy for six summers, won 1st place in many competitions around the USA, performed all over the USA and Italy, and performed as Piano Soloist in multiple symphonies in the USA and Italy.

I have taught piano for over 20 years and have experience teaching students with ADD, ADHD, ODD, Parkinson's, Cerebral Palsy, and Autism. I have also received training in three different methods of piano pedagogy. In my studio lessons are $25 a half hour. So $100 a month for weekly half-hour lessons, $150 a month for weekly 45 minute lessons, and $200 a month for weekly 60 minute lessons.

I am located on the east side of Layton, Utah. I enjoy teaching in person and online, and love passing on what I've learned to my students. It brings me so much pleasure seeing my student's excitement as they learn the joy music brings to their lives.
