Art skills for all ages and abilities are taught. We work mostly in 2-D art mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, oil, and drawing mediums. Mary has taught in the public school system for 30 plus years and taught kindergarten through college courses in art topics including art history, aesthetics, art production and analysis. She is a certified teacher. Her approach is friendly and encouraging.

I have enjoyed drawing and painting ever since I was very young. It's something I love and I like passing it on to others so they can enjoy it too.     I have taught young children and what I love about children is that they are unafraid to explore and have fun with the process.  They are not afraid to make mistakes they just have fun with whatever art project they do and do not care as much about the end product.  It is all about getting to do something fun!  I like to tell all my students to "get in touch with their inner kindergartener" and enjoy the process more.

    I have a BA degree in Fine Art and a teachers certification to teach art K-12.  I have taught art to college students at UVU and have had extensive experience in teaching adults of all ages and ability levels.

    $20 an hour 

    I have always loved creating and children so being an art teacher has always been something I have aspired to. 

    I have worked with all ages and ability levels including special needs children.
