About
I have been painting for as long as I can remember! I'm in love with the process just as much as the end result.
I strive to teach a love for art as well as help you improve your skills! I will help you from basics to more complex. I have drawing painting skills.
I have a large studio I would love to teach others in the space.
You'll be working with me in my personal studio learning as much or as little as you'd like.
I'll be as hands on with your learning and experience as you feel comfortable.
I understand that everyone is different and the art that they are attracted to is also special.
I will guide you to listen to your heart when choosing composition and subject but also teach you the nessary skills to build your paintings to your ideas.
I have studied at university where I received Bachelor's of fine arts emphasis in studio arts.
Since then I've been selling my art steady since then. Always working on improving my skills; I also teach young children art. I would love to work with young adults as well as adults, as they each bring something special to the table.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want to get to know you and understand what art experience you have.
I will typically ask my artists what techniques they are interested in. Depending on the level we may draw for the first couple sessions and work out way to learning how to layer paint in pallet learning along the way how to make a painting from beginning to end.
I will help the artist experiment and find a process that makes them excited to keep painting.
each day we will work on layering the painting until completion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended university, I received my bachelors of fine arts from Southern Utah university.
I have Been a professional artist since then about 2 years, I have received certificate from an art mastery program. Where I was able to learn the marketing aspect of selling my art and becoming a professional.
I have had several years of experience working with kids, in teaching art settings to engaging with them.
I have taught drawing lessons to adults in a different setting than school.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always been interested in teaching, I think in art we are often learning for ourselves and we forget that during that process we are also teachers, It's a giant experiment and you can't be wrong with art but together we can find a method that makes you happy about your creation.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with ages 6 + in summer camp settings to education.
I have worked with adults older and younger than me teaching them basic drawing skills.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about what you struggle with and talk about with your teacher. We want to know what to focus on, it's hard but it would be worth it. Avoiding things actually make working on art harder.
ask whatever your heart desires.
