About this pro

My name is Nats Buchi, E-RYT 500. (Experience Registered Yoga Teacher at the highlest level). I actualy surpassed that cause I'm always wanting to learn more.  Yoga saved my life and cotinues to do so. It's not just the physical "side effects", which are wonderful but there is so much to the practice. I have studied with some amazing senior teachers who are not available to us know.  I am a student, practitioner and teacher.  I would consider my styles of teaching to be very intuitife.  People learn a alot about themselves and my experience of 14 years has taught me so much about the body. The last I checked my logged numbers for teaching, I've now taught over 22,00 classes!  I love it. I would consider my teaching more boutique Yoga as my space is small and welcoming and very special to me.  I teach many styles of Yoga including Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Power, Kundalini, Forest Yoga, Anusara, Prenatal, Restorative Yoga, & Yoga Nidra and Guided Meditation. As I've developed my skill, I have become very good at just looking at a person or watching them walk and better yet if the tell me stuff, I can design a class that's almost like a prescription for them.  I started training other potential teachers in 2010 and I find tht in the small groups I work with, students are seious, mature, fun, and open to new things.  Every student that takes the teacher training at my school, I hear nothing but praise as they run around the valley sharing the gift of awareness, peace, happiness, and that sense of connection and deservedness.  I am also an experienced and highly trained Bodyworker and can assist people in putting their skeleton back into place and educate the soft tissue to support the muscles to keep the body free of tangles. She has a lot of anatomy training and other skills that make her approach very unique and skillful.

I teache what I practice and practice what i teach.  I use the Yoga practice in my life for many reasons. It is a way of living with an expanded perifrial of life.  I have found so much peopce when things were very traumatic, I find peace, stability, movement, power and direction in times of chaos and fear. I am not not void of difficult life experiences. my knowledge and depth shows in my overall demeanor and my  passion really shines whenI teach, lecture, do events, radio shows or just simply start to talk about Yoga!  Ive never been more passionate and confident in the experienced I've gained.  I ask muy students to be respectful and kind and if people work with me, they will transform and grow.
Nats is a creative, highly intuitive, empathetic and outgoing person. She is a musician and recently released her first studio album. She’s very theatrical and has a sharp sense of humor and does not hold anything back. She is a fantastic writer and public speaker and can address people in large numbers as well as hone in on individuals one on one. People work with her in many ways for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual growth. She lives her live freely and openly and is able to take on responsibilities and challenges that many find impossible and she is able to teach in a way that brings out that same innate quality in others. She loves working with people and being a part of their paths to bettering themselves and the world around them. She is easy to work with and holds space for anyone ready to take a look at themselves and start doing the work to create a more harmonious and healthy life.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Depending on what they need.  If they come for Bodywork, they just relax for 2 hours whie I work out the soft tissue and do structural alignment.

Students that come for one on one sessions, I am very open with them so we can use Yoga to specifically address what they need.  I have to be in my student's presence to konw what I'm going to do.

With teacher trainers, I am very strict and expect them to walk the path of Yoga with integrity and am creating a way for them to have all the things they need to succed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I was trained as a fitness instructor i 2005 with AFAA.

I was a certified Turbokick Instructor

I have the highest certification with the Yoga Aliance

I'm also a musician and do sound healing

I studied Bodywork at the BioSync® Research Institute
