About
As a basketball trainer I thrive on seeing results. Results are the only thing that matters when it comes to basketball skills training. Results are achieved when goals are made, progress is tracked, and training habits are solid and consistent. My players understand the why behind their training to help them stay motivated to achieving their goals. Halford Hoops is about seeing and achieving results.
One of the most rewarding parts of being a coach is the relationships that I am able to development all the players and parents that I meet. Not only do I get the satisfaction of seeing my players reach their goals, but I gain friendships that last a lifetime!

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training players for the past 6 years. I was a walk-on non-scholarship athlete at Utah State University, then I eventually transferred to Salt Lake Community College and received a scholarship. While at SLCC I was a NJCAA first team All American. I then gained a scholarship at BYU and I was top-10 in the nation in 3-point percentage. I have trained players from 1st grade all the way up to the NBA. I love what I do!
