Hi! My name is Brian and I'm an artist. Are you struggling to grasp the fundamentals of acrylic or oil painting? Is artist block constantly an issue? Online tutorials are helpful, but it's hard to improve without specific feedback from an instructor.

Don't worry! These are common issues and we can work through them together. I am happy to assist you in your artistic journey. We will focus on basic principles to help us understand the importance of value, proportion, and composition. While learning how to generate ideas and find your artistic voice.

I want to make sure you are creating artwork that resonates with you. This is an important aspect of learning that several art instructors fail to understand. If you are not invested in your subject matter, you won't be invested in the learning process. We may have to go over simple exercises to understand a concept, but it will always connect to a larger project fueled by your creativity.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Utah Valley University in painting and drawing. So I understand what it's like to be a student. I specialize in acrylic and oil painting techniques. My work is influenced by surrealism, street art, and a healthy dose of imagination. I have a deep passion for creating and it would be a joy to help you on your path.
