Tyler S. says, "We are working with Mike Livingston. He has been super helpful and professional. My kid is in his first year of football and Mike has been working with him on foot work and conditioning. Mike has helped him become more aggressive and has taught him skills to use on the defensive line. My kid is starting to make plays and getting more playing time. I would definitely work with Mike again and recommend him. " Read more

Aubrey C. says, "My experience with Kryz wasn’t through his coaching program. I got the honor to watch Kryz be an amazing player and teammate on and off the field in Wenatchee, WA. I saw nothing but heart and dedication. Countless times when I would be walking away from the softball field after my practice, I would see Kryz putting in extra work/reps in the batting cages. He has always tried to better himself in any way possible. These are great qualities for a coach to have. A coach must always want to better themselves in order to better the team, and I believe he can do just that. Even off the field, I got to get to know Kryz. He is a man with a lot of respect, humor, and once again... heart. A coach must be a great, respectable man even off the field, this has grave importance. I believe Kryz has just that! Even though my time around Kryz may have been short, I could tell he had a burning passion for the game and a heart that desires to inspire others." Read more

Please text me for more information and easier communication at (954)812-9760. Baseball is my passion. I have been playing it since I was 4 years old. I grew up playing it in Venezuela until I was 14, and got the opportunity to move to Florida to play High School baseball and eventually attend to a D1 school as a Student-Athlete at Florida International University. I'm currently playing professional baseball for Cardenales de Lara in the Venezuelan winter league and the Ogden Raptors, which is an independent league team located in Ogden, Utah. I love teaching younger players what I have learned in my young career and have the skills to do it...

Your Baseball Training questions, answered

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Lessons.com.

How much do private baseball lessons cost?

Private baseball lessons cost $50 to $75 per 30-minute lesson and $80 to $140 per 1-hour lesson. The price depends on your location, the instructor's experience and reputation, the student's age, and whether the lesson includes extras like a video analysis of the player's performance.

Many coaches offer lower prices per lesson if you purchase a package that includes 6 or 10 lessons. The average package prices are:

  • 6 pack of 30-minute lessons: $270 – $420
  • 6 pack of 1-hour lessons: $450 – $720
  • 10 pack of 30-minute lessons: $400 – $600
  • 10 pack of 1-hour lessons: $700 – $1,100

Are private baseball lessons worth it?

Private baseball lessons may be worth it if your child currently plays the sport, loves it, and has expressed an interest in improving their skills and performance. Private lessons can help your child advance their skills, develop good habits, and avoid forming bad habits.

Motivation and a drive to improve are key factors in whether or not the lessons will actually help your child. It's important for your child to practice in between private lessons.

Children who receive private baseball lessons are usually more likely to advance to playing at higher levels than children who only receive group coaching during regular team practice. However private lessons don't guarantee your child will play collegiate or professional baseball.

What is the difference between private and semi-private baseball lessons?

In a private baseball lesson, the athlete trains one-on-one with an instructor who tailors the lesson specifically to their needs and skill level. In a semi-private lesson, two athletes work together with one instructor. Semi-private lessons, also called partner lessons, typically cost 10% to 20% less than private lessons. However, because the trainer's attention is divided between the two athletes, the athletes don't get the same level of individualized instruction as they would in a private lesson.

What age should you start pitching lessons?

Baseball instructors generally recommend that children start pitching lessons at around 8 to 12 years old, though there are no age requirements or exact rules. Learning fundamental pitching skills early on can help your child avoid developing bad habits that will be difficult for them to break later.

However, your child should not start taking pitching lessons until they are comfortable throwing the ball as well as catching the ball one-handed.
