Baseball Lessons
About
Hello, my name is Scott. I have coaching baseball for 23 plus years. I focus on getting back to the basics of working with the players. I meet with the players and ask them what areas they would like to improve in and work with the player on meeting those goals. But to reach those goals those players have to not only do some work at home but be patience and understand it takes time to work on improving their skills.
Like I mentioned earlier, I have coached baseball for the past 23 plus years. In the past 7 years I have been coaching 13-15 age groups as well as 16-18 in Babe Ruth in the spring. In the last 4 years I have been coaching at 1A and 2A High Schools in the Fall (Schools that do not have football programs play High School ball in the fall).

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Have an interview with the parents and kids (ages 8-18) on what they want to work on and become better at. I will then work on a schedule on what we will be doing and what I would like them to work on at home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been coaching \ working with kids in baseball for 22years in Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth, American Legion and High School leagues. I have taken a Baseball Scouting course Sports Management World wide. I am involved in the Area Scouts program as an evaluator in the Riverton \ Bluffdale area. I have taken and passed on-line classes in Scout School 360. I have numerous certificates from the National Federation of State High School Association.
