Hello, my name is Tyler Chen and I received my BMUS in Jazz Composition and a certificate in Music Technology from the University of Utah. I am an award-winning jazz composer with many years of experience of teaching and playing piano and drums. With my lessons I will teach you how to: -Problem-solve (logical thinking, efficiency in piano practice), -Set goals, -Persevere, -Develop Character, -Be disciplined, -Manage your time, -Develop self-expression, -Find messages presented in the music. -Submerge you into the culture of a variety of music genres, -Develop your musical vocabulary, -Play proficiently, -Become a well-rounded musician.
