I have been in the basketball training industry for over 5 years now. I began as a shooting coach with Complete Shooter, and recently founded a full player development program called ICE Basketball. I've worked with several all-state basketball players in Utah, and helped an athlete who didn't make the team in high school get the opportunity to go play in college.
I work with players from 6th grade and up, from beginners to advanced players. I believe anyone can become a great basketball player if they put in the effort, and I have seen it time and time again with my players.
I played Varsity Basketball at Northridge High School in Layton, Ut. My Junior year we won our region championship and made it to the quarterfinals. My senior year we also made it to the state tournament, and I was selected to play in the 5A All-Star Showcase.
After High School Basketball and a church mission, I was able to compete at the Junior College Level at Wenatchee Valley College in the state of Washington. While there, I was able to complete 100% of my free attempts.
Our small-group sessions are designed to not only teach your athlete a skill, but how to use that skill in a competitive environment.
When your athlete arrives, we'll start with an engaging and competitive warmup. Then we will throw your athlete into a competitive environment using small-sided games (contested shooting, 1v1, 2v2) targeting a specific skill. We'll then break down and work on some specific skills that your athlete struggled with during those games. After breaking it down, we'll return to the competitive games so your athlete can learn to apply the skill they just learned! You athlete will then be asked to use our Online Training App to continue their work on those skills at home during the week.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my favorite experiences has been seeing one of my players who got cut from the high school team be able to play at the college level (and the same college I played at!).
His dedication and hard work are inspiring for me and the other players that I work with.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You need to find a teacher that helps you NOW.
There are all different types of training, but there's no right answer and it often depends on where the player is at.
Whatever option you choose, stick your head down and get to work! Nothing brings results more than consistent effort.
