I offer classes is a wide range of topics and am always happy to negotiate price because I feel that expressing yourself creatively is something nobody should be denied the opportunity of just because the cost is more than their able to afford. I work with everyone so weather your looking to take a class alone, as a couple and even as a family, or any other group gathering we can make it happen and that means that Kids of all ages are welcome as well. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
See what they know what they want to learn and work from there. go at their pace and remind them there is no wrong way to be creative
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i took an online photography course and got certified
i was contracted to restore a historical landmark in salt lake city after it was badly damaged by tagging
when it comes to my culinary skills all i can say is when i cook i make a lot so everyone is guna eat and that means i have fed a LOT of people and no complaints as of yet fingers crossed
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
i price based on several key areas
1) supplies - meaning do i need to bring them or do you aready have your own and if i do need to bring them i have to consider what it costs me out of pocket
2) how much time am i investing and is it going to be a repeat lesson on a regular basis or just one or two lessons and done. (part of this includes weather or not i have to travel to the customer or if they come to me)
3) are there any additional factors to consider such as are they a repeat customer, have they expressed to me a desire to take lessons but without enormous means to do so in which im happy to work with anyone within reason, or even are they bringing in a large group for an event class that generates more income for me and spreads the word.....all of these and more are factors to consider
