I am an experienced art teacher and have the ability to teach many different mediums. I can teach lots of students who all want to learn something different. I also teach all age groups, kids, teens and adults! I offer a creative and safe environment in my home art studio to give my students to best learning experience I can.

I have loved art all my life! So teaching others to love art has been a dream. I truly enjoy helping others find joy through the world of artwork and creativity!

    I took a watercolor class and Katrina was a fabulous instructor. I felt very comfortable in her studio and very low pressure (I’m a beginner). I was impressed that there were different levels of students in the same class and we all learned a lot about how we could improve our technique. It was a group setting but Katrina was happy to work with us individually, give us tips, and answer questions. I will definitely be attending more of her classes/workshops.

    Frequently asked questions

    I like to take the time to discover what a new students skill level is so I can better know how to best teach them to develop their artistic abilities. Getting to know my students personal style and art interests is also what I like to discover early on about my students.

    I have two art degrees from Salt Lake Community College in Illustration and Graphic Design. 

    Pricing is dependent on what Art medium is taught in the offered classand whether it be a private lessson or a group lesson. 

    i started working as a fine arts teacher for a new art studio a couple of years out of college. A  school colleague of mine opened the studio and hired me as the first teacher. I taught art at the studios for over three years before deciding to teach classes from home. 

    I have worked with students of all ages, from young children to seniors. 

    Look for an art teacher that is well rounded in different mediums. You never know when you will want to learn something new!
