Chris is a tremendous skills coach who works with each player to understand their strengths, position and where they can improve. He worked with my son to understand where he saw himself contributing to the game and identified several areas where they could work to reach short and long term goals. Chris helped him also determine what he could do on his own and helped create his homework plan. From little things like footwork on specific drills to checking in on the process each of his kids make during the off time - he’s a solid coach who has really helped my son with his game on the coach, but also makes him feel great after each session.
I love their sincere commitment towards helping my son get better every time he trains with them. They have a no frills approach with a focus on skills that directly translate to improved game performances.
The fact the trainers really care about improving the kids basketball skills. Their attention to detail is better than any other trainers I’ve worked with.
ShotsUp has really helped to improve my daughters shot. Not only that as she works with Coach Chris he is also correcting her form and teaching her how to read and react. My daughter loves her experience with ShotsUp and encourages others to come out. She now has half her teaming working with ShotsUp! We get there as often as we can between team practices and school practices coming from PG County! It’s well worth it! Thank you ShotsUp for all you do, not just for mine but others as well!! ShotsUp requires hard work but is definitely heart work😊😊
We do a written evaluation on each player. We will talk to player and parents and come up with reachable goals. After that we come up with a plan to reach the goals.
We have over 15yrs training experience. We have coached at the high school level and played basketball at the college level.
