Math And Economics Lessons
About
Learn Algebra, Finite Math and Economics from a Cambridge MBA graduate with professional experience in the banking and wealth management industry. I graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University on a merit scholarship. I then earned an MBA from the Cambridge Judge Business School in the UK.
I was a college tutor at Marquette where I taught the same classes to freshmen and sophomores. I am passionate about coaching students with their studies for them to achieve what I have in academics.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would assess the student's current capabilities and ask what the student's weak and strong points are. We will focus on the weakness areas first and then further bolster the strong points after that. I will refer to the student's current curriculum and see what improvements I can make along the way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an undergraduate degree in Economics (graduated magna cum laude) from Marquette University. I also have an MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. Prior to business school, I worked in banking as a wealth advisor for high net worth clients.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$30 per hour
How did you get started teaching?
I started as a Math and Economics tutor in college at Marquette University.
What types of students have you worked with?
College freshmen and sophomores
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I took part in a leveraged buyout competition in New York when I represented Cambridge. It was a test out of my comfort zone that provided me the opportunity to learn something new outside of the classroom as well as network with other MBA's from the US and UK.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be honest with your tutor. Also need to match with the personality and style of the tutor. You have to feel at ease with your tutor and not be afraid to try and make mistakes.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students need to ask "why" a certain concept does not make sense and "how" can it be solved- whether it be more practice, going over the concepts again, etc.
