I have extensive experience coaching and training athletes across various levels. I've worked as a soccer coach/ trainer for over seven years, focusing primarily on youth and high school athletes. I've coached at both recreational and competitive levels, helping players develop their skills, improve their game understanding, and achieve their personal goals. I have coached at several clubs and schools, including Liberty middle school.

I typically work with age groups ranging from 8 to 18, tailoring my coaching methods to fit the developmental stage of each player. Additionally, I have coached players at high levels that have developed their skills to play in various competitive domestic and international leagues.

I have an extensive athletic background, having played in competitive leagues in both the Netherlands and Portugal. My experience includes playing for semi-professional teams, including Northern Virginia FC. These opportunities have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the game and high-level skills.

I competed at the collegiate level and participated in several high-profile tournaments and leagues in Europe, showcasing my abilities against top-tier competition. These experiences have not only honed my skills but also enriched my understanding of what it takes to succeed at various levels of the sport.

In a typical session with me, clients can expect a comprehensive approach that encompasses skill development, physical conditioning, nutrition advice, and mindset training.

We start with a warm-up to prepare the body for intense activity, including dynamic stretches and light cardio. Next, we move on to specific drills tailored to the athlete's position and skill level, focusing on techniques such as ball control, passing accuracy, dribbling, and shooting. Each drill is designed to mimic game scenarios, ensuring practical application of skills.

Physical conditioning is a critical component, so we incorporate exercises that enhance agility, speed, and endurance. This might include sprint drills, agility ladder exercises, and resistance training.

Nutrition advice is integrated into our sessions, where I provide guidance on diet that supports athletic performance and recovery. For a disclaimer, I am not a licensed nutritionist yet I do have an extensive knowledge on the impact that diet has on athletic performance. Understanding the importance of proper nutrition helps athletes maximize their energy levels and maintain peak physical condition.

Lastly, we work on mindset. For a disclaimer, I am not a licensed psychologist yet I understand the powerful impact that a positive outlook can have on an athlete. I emphasize goal-setting, and positive perspective to help athletes stay focused and motivated. We might discuss strategies for handling pressure, staying confident, and maintaining a positive attitude both on and off the field.

Each session ends with a cool-down period, including static stretches and a brief discussion on the day’s progress and areas for improvement. My goal is to ensure that every athlete leaves each session feeling stronger, more skilled, and mentally prepared for their next challenge.
