Music With M.E.
About
I am an Alexandria, Va native that has been playing music for 26 years. I have been an educator in the DC area since 2013, having taught private lessons and in the classroom setting. I specialize in solo and audition preparation. I like to focus on the fundamentals of playing while I further the student's music education. Many of my students represent their schools and All-State and All-District Band.
My music education began at age nine on trumpet. I am a 2002 graduate of DeMatha Catholic HS, and contined my education at Old Dominion University, receiving my Bachelor's of Music degree in 2008. I am proficient on trumpet, trombone, euphonium, and tuba.
I am currently a school band director, Army Reserve musician, orchestra Bass Trombonist, and community band conductor.
I have a passion for music and I enjoy sharing it with my students. Whether you are new to playing an instrument, trying to improve your skills, or someone picking it up after some time away, I have great joy working with all of my students!
