What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, students tend to be nervous at first so I begin with my student in a slow speed zone areas to make them comfortable and then gradually take them to higher speed zones. Also, I go over the basics to understand a little bit about the car. For example, how to turn on headlights, high beam, wipers, emergency signal, horn, front and rear defroster and changing gears!
Commentary Driving: being conscious of what you're doing on the road and extremely observant. It may have been a while since you have been conscious of your driving but I am going to help you narrate the process outloud by saying things like " that truck is getting close try to ease on gas a bit or that blue car is going too fast it will probably pull in front of us try to leave extra space. Clear instructions to make us safe on the road! I will encourage my student to make accurate judgements about what traffic will do and how to respond to it additionally we will discuss road hazards and what to do about each situation we face while driving!

How did you get started teaching?
My family always used to encourage me and say I am a great driver so I decided to get certified and went to school and studied the courses necessary to become a driving instructor then got my degree and got certified through the Department Of Motor Vehicles and then started working with Falls Church Driving School and so far I trained over 5000 students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I worked with all levels of experiences from beginners to intermediate to advance. I trained people who are looking to learn driving for the first time and people who are looking to master their driving skills and become experts!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Re Examination class for my students to retake their test in the Dmv and helping my students drive on a daily basis with different programs of training!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find an instructor who can stay calm under pressure and making sure that he or she can make you comfortable and learning in a relaxed and enjoyable environment! Additionally, making sure the instructor does not use the dual break and gas pedal frequently so the student learns to have full control over the car and become confident
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Having their learners permit or International License before enrolling and hiring me as their driving instructor!
