What is your typical process for working with a new student?
There is no one-size-fits-all procedure for every student. To find out what process to take, the student and I first create a set of goals based on the expectations that we have for ourselves and one another. After the goals are set in place, we then discuss a plan to accomplish those goals. Each class, the student and I review the plan for the day and then work on the steps in the plan.
