About
My passion for music extends to the third grade when I first started playing the saxophone over 20 years ago. I have my music minor and my passion lives on by teaching fellow sax players to reach thier full potential. I am currently a teacher in the fairfax county school system. I am orginally from one of the biggest jazz cities in america, Pittsburgh, PA. My love for jazz as well as classical music really elevates my teaching becuase of the wide range of style!
Right now I enjoy the satisfaction of giving back to music. Music for me was something Ive enjoyed my entire life and I am looking to pass it on to others.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When first meeting a studnet I like to see what the student knows and asses from there. Once I know exactly what the student knows or doesnt know we can work from there and figure out what the student wants to gain from the lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a minor in music and have been trained both in classical and in Jazz. I have been playing for over 14 years and I look to fuse both Jazz and Classical training into each lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching in the classroom now for three years and I am always willing to give back to music and the music community.
