I teach acrylic painting in Leesburg, VA. Acrylic is a great medium for beginners because its quick drying time makes it easy to paint over things you want to change. Small class sizes allow me to work individually with each student. Students will gain access to a private Facebook page where they can get feedback and encouragement from other students and myself. I believe anyone can learn to paint if they want to, and I love to encourage people to give it a try.

In this time of physical distancing, all but one of my classes has been cancelled. However, one of my classes has moved to an online format, because I beleive that people need art more than ever now. This will not be like a traditional online class where you watch a video, and then work on your own. We will be meeting live in an online conference call. My goal is for this class to be as much like the in person class experience as can be achieved online.

Painting brings me a great deal of joy, and showing others how to tap into their own creativity is a privilege. I love the look of pride on my student’s faces when they finish their paintings.
