I have been playing basketball for over 20 years and coaching for the past 5 years. I currently assistant coach basketball for high school in Suffolk, Va. Home of the 2020 Class 3 State Champions - Lakeland Cavaliers. I also coach travel ball for aau. I am now a 2-time state champion (one as a player and the other as a coach). I've been blessed to compete at the collegiate level and have experience with physical training that tests the body and the mind. I enjoy teaching the fundamentals of basketball and how they relate to the obstacles we face in life. I believe in building young people not young basketball players. I am also a certified Life coach that specializes in helping young athletes make the transition from high school to college.
My passion is the teaching element of training. I believe that the effort that is put into training correlates to the results in games! I also enjoy teaching life lessons through drills and scenarios. This is effective in helping young athletes understand there are positive and negative consequences for their actions.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to take about 15-20 minutes to build rapport and talk with the student and the parents to adjust expectations and learn the goals of the training sessions. I feel this is the best way to be on the same page and to modify the training to lead to these specific goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played competitive basketball for 15+ years.
I have experience with collegiate physical training.
I have played for and coached in a state championship.
I currently coach and train teenagers at the high school level.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$20-30 per session depending on skill level and goals.
Training typically includes but it not limited too:
-10-15mins cardio work
-25-35 mins strength training
-35-45 mins skill work
Each workout will be a different high intensity training session for the student but the above is a generic schedule.
