Hi! My name is Emily Epperly and I am a professional violinist and music teacher in the Hampton Roads, VA and Kennesaw, GA areas. I have been playing for thirteen years and teaching for five. I absolutely love teaching private lessons and getting to know students on an individual level. I believe in teaching the whole student and ensuring that the student's individual needs are met so they can be successful. I have worked with students aged four to fifty-five and no task is too tall--all it takes is a little practice. I keep my lessons fun a light-hearted, as playing and singing are very personal to us. I do my best to cultivate a safe space where students can thrive and be confident when asking questions. All in all, I see teaching as a chance to serve and I look forward to working with you!
