Monroe Street Art Studio

I have dreamed of becoming a teacher since I was 5 years old. In 1991, my dream came true! After graduating University with a degree in Art Education, I taught art and art history in middle school and high school in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. I came to the United States in 2004 and began teaching art for children in private schools, getting ready for my own journey! In 2015, I established a wonderful Art Studio in Herndon, VA, developed great curricula for young and adult students, and have been professionally and successfully providing art education ever since. I am proud of all my students, some of whom received awards including Gold Key and Silver Key in the Scholastic Art Competition, and the Grand Prize of the Russian Embassy for impressive artwork dedicated to classical literature. All my students enjoy being creative and some of my students are preparing portfolios for colleges of art or studying art in recognized art schools across the country. I am an educated, professional, and creative art teacher, and am excited to work with my highly skilled and professional team of teachers.
