About
I have dreamed of becoming a teacher since I was five years old, and in 1991 that childhood dream came true. After graduating from the university with a degree in Art Education, I began teaching art and art history to middle and high school students in Vilnius, Lithuania's capital.
When I moved to the United States in 2004, I continued teaching art in private schools, all while imagining a place of my own—a warm, creative space where people of all ages could grow, discover, and express themselves. In 2015, that dream became reality when I opened my art studio in Herndon, VA. Since then, I have joyfully developed art programs for children and adults and have dedicated myself to nurturing creativity in my community.
In addition to painting and academic drawing, I am a passionate stained-glass artist. Sharing this craft—its colors, light, and beauty—brings me tremendous joy. I try to bring encouragement, patience, and positivity into every class I teach. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a student gain confidence, try something new, and surprise themselves with what they can create. I truly love my job and feel lucky every day to do what I do.
My own artistic interests include painting, academic drawing, stained glass, glass mosaic, clay art, and more—and I’m always excited to explore new creative ideas with my students.
