I start my athletic accomplishments with my making it to the regional's level for ODP when I was a kid in 2010. I then made my way to McLean academy where I was competing at a very high level against teams like DC United Academy. I went to Broad Run High School as I was a starter for my state championship team in 2014 and went to the finals again as I was captain the next year in 2015. I have won multiple all-conference awards and was the leader of assists in the year 2015 for high school soccer. On to the next chapter of my life, I competed at the collegiate level at the University of Mary Washington as I am now an Alumni.
The best part about this job is that it gives me the chance to make players game better and actually seeing results is one of the best feeling you can have as a coach.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Team coaches can't teach you everything you need. I will be training players to build confidence in there game. As I understand and went through the process of how to compete at an extremely high level, I will share the skills I have learned throughout the years in my career. I will focus on technical skills on how to take a player 1 on 1 as they will learn how to build speed and quickness with the ball. Having the time to perfect a players skills to bring them to the next level in their game is crucial and needs to be trained as early as possible in their careers. I will train players how to finish with confidence and accuracy to make them into a game changing player. There are times when players become too hard on themselves because they find themselves not being able to do the correct thing. Almost every soccer player experiences this. The best therapy in these times is enforcing positive feedback and truthful correction responses. Everyone makes mistakes and its the players job to learn/grow from those mistakes to enhance their careers. These are the things you get to hear every week if you have me as a private soccer tutor.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Learned all my training through my player experiences as I played soccer my whole life. I have coached soccer to kids ages 5 - 15 ever since I was 15 years old. I worked for Loudoun Soccer camps and have advnaced experience training kids 1 on 1.

For example I recently coached a 14 year old boy who made the DC United Academy team and clearly wanted to compete at a high level.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you want to become great at what you do, you have to understand the true meaning of failure. So you lost a game, you missed your opportunity to score, you missed a PK, or you had a back touch. Take the time to understand what you specifically need to improve on and learn from experiencing these failures in your game.
