FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I first like to see or hear what the student knows, areas of strength, and areas they feel they can improve. From there come up with a plan of execution and then I'll show my craft and how I can help.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Started sketch in elementary school and begain focus training from middle all the way to college. Attended VSU for fine Arts, with mini in graphic design. Music has been in my life even longer than sketch just never schooled outside of church choir and school performances. Music and photography were taught to me by doing. Over ten years in music and 4years of photography. Ig Winta_photos

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I do have a minimum for m courses, $50 base for the lesson and depends on the topic. I am pretty passionate about my craft its not a job its a way of life for me that people happen to pay me for, thank god right.

How did you get started teaching?

I have always been helping and teaching others around me but when I did it in a help group and was more helpful than the teacher i felt this was something a can do for a living.

What types of students have you worked with?

Musical beginners/intermediate,

sketch artist beginner intermediate and adanced levels

Have not worked with any videographers or photographers yet except friends and family.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I did a private event in DC, it was based on art and the night life of DC. It was a great way to show the levels of what they can do and the feeling of the room. I like to show the vibe of a person place or thing, I believe in authenticity.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Call me first and lets see what I can do for you.

Make sure they can at least half of what they say.

If they have nothing to show, dont go.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

How long have you done what you have done?

Whats your highest achievement in the craft?

When are you available?
