I am a professional musician and music educator with over 10 years of performing and teaching experience offering private instruction on all brass instruments: Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, and Tuba. I teach out of my home in kiln creek, Newport News and my rates are $26 per 30-minute lesson or $37 per 45-minute lesson, billed in groups of four.

I actually like working with Chris because he was able to help me develop a brighter sound as Im playing the Trombone with a simple technique called Air Trombone. I am hearing the fullness of sound thanks to Chris. To top things off, I am extremely with working with Chris in person versus having my lessons on line like Ive had in the past with other teachers. No more covid-19 rules and regulations. 😁 I am a adult Trombonist whos somewhere around the intermediate level but has a lot more to learn. I started back playing 3 years ago after not playing for 26 years so I am looking forward to working with Chris on my musical journey!

He is very knowedgeable about the instruments and is very patient and helpful in teaching. We can tell that he loves helping kids get better. My son has significantly improved in the past 6 months, and the band director has noticed.

I have a doctorate of musical arts from Rutgers University. I teach college music courses and perform with professional symphony orchestras
