About
GET TO KNOW ME—
Hello my name is Phillip I’m 21 years old. I’m currently pursing a degree in Sports management in ODU and I am. A pitching coach at deep creek high school. I am a junior right now and look to graduate in the fall of 2025. I have a huge passion for all sports and grew up watching all of them. I’m a die hard Washington fan in every sport and watch almost all of the games. Right now I look to primarily train baseball (hitting, pitching, and fielding, Softball (hitting and fielding)
EXPERIENCE—
I’ve played 13 years of baseball including 3 in high school (covid year) and 5 in competitive travel. I’ve pitched my whole career as well as working at 1B, 3B, 2B, and LF.
My mentors include:
Dan Railey, former D1 Baseball player, now coaches with Marymount
John Thomas, former pitcher for Virginia, former state winning head coach for Lake Braddock
Johann Tiampson- Head coach of Lake Braddock Baseball
Dan Seymore- Former College baseball player, former Lake Braddock pitching coach
I did swim team for roughly 8 years competing for my neighborhood swim team. I competed on the relay and was a backstroke leg. I’m able to teach any stroke you may need however.
WHY TO HIRE ME—
I’m obviously new to the coaching scene but I’ve known my whole life that’s what I’ve wanted to do. I pride myself on being patient, being able to communicate with all ages, and making sure everyone gets my maximum effort no matter who they are. To me it doesn’t matter what you look like or where you come from, all that matters is that you have a passion to learn. Sports are supposed to bring everyone together and create a sense of peace and I just want to help make that happen. I know I’m young but I promise if trusted you will see results
